FAMILY LAW

Divorce and Custody fights represent some of the most challenging issues an individual will ever face.  They may be the most difficult cases for both attorney and client.  Emotions are sky high, the costs of legal proceedings can, at times, seem insurmountable and the court system seems ill-equipped to deal with these cases.  Jim approaches these cases having been through divorce and custody battles in his personal life.  As a result, clients are encouraged to reach practical goals at the outset of the case and to fully engage in early efforts to resolve cases to minimize both the emotional and financial impact to the parties.  However, some cases simply can’t be resolved through negotiation and we are ready to bring to bear aggressive litigation tactics and decades of trial experience.
